Hi, my name is Luke Hettinger, I am a mentor at Restore Counseling. I grew up in Northeast Missouri and moved to Columbia with my wife and kids in 2016. I have been in ministry for over 20 years and hold a master’s degree in Church Revitalization. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and a certified Soul Care Practitioner.

Throughout my time in ministry, I have worked with various people in all types of life situations, including individuals and couples coming from a wide range of backgrounds. It is an honor and privilege to walk alongside people, helping them identify and overcome obstacles that may be keeping them from a life of purpose and connection, which we as humans are created for.

Some of my favorite things are enjoying a good cigar around a campfire, skiing on water and snow, watching a good action movie, and playing Catan with my family—even though my wife beats me more often than I’d like to admit!
