Restore Counseling Services is proud to support The Restore Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to put excellent mental health care and whole-person healing within reach of everyone who needs it. It's where access meets excellence.
What is The Restore Foundation?
Across our community, there are people who need mental health care and can't access it. While reasons vary, cost, insurance, and geography are usually somewhere at the center.
Access to care has been part of Restore's mission from the beginning. When the standard rate has been out of reach, clients have been able to apply for a scholarship to cover part of the fee so they could still be seen. Scholarships have never been automatic or guaranteed. They've been funded by the practice itself, along with people who gave toward them. That pool was small, so it couldn't reach everyone who needed it.
The Restore Foundation is a separate nonprofit built to change that. The Foundation is a dedicated home for scholarship funds, backed by donors, community partners, and Restore Counseling. Because it receives a share of every appointment, the pool grows alongside the practice instead of depending on what's left over. And as a nonprofit, it can receive tax-deductible gifts and grants that were never available to the practice on its own.
A larger, steadier pool reaches more people. It's also deep enough to cover the higher cost of retreats and intensives, so support that has mostly reached counseling and mentoring can now extend across everything we offer.
Every single client is already contributing. Restore now donates 10% of every appointment fee to the Foundation on each client’s behalf. It happens automatically, at every appointment, with nothing to opt into and nothing extra to pay.
What participation looks like
-
Many people delay seeking help. They wait until work steadies, until the bills are caught up, until there's room. Healing shouldn't have to wait for circumstances to change. If paying the standard rate would mean choosing between Restore and other essential expenses, anyone can apply for a scholarship through the Foundation.
There are generous donors here who want to see people get the care they're looking for, though no funds from The Restore Foundation are guaranteed.
-
Every appointment at Restore sends 10% of its fee to the Foundation. What Restore gives on behalf of clients, together with the generosity of donors, becomes the pool the Foundation draws from. Those steady, ordinary contributions are much of what the Foundation has to work with.
And an appointment does more than fund the pool. We believe one person's healing reaches everyone around them. When one person flourishes, the people near them tend to flourish, too. Healing changes how someone shows up in their relationships, leadership, creativity, work, and communities.
-
The Foundation is also supported by donors: individuals, families, businesses, and community partners who believe mental health care should be within reach. These gifts are someone's own money, given so that a person they may never meet can sit down with a mental health professional.
A gift to the Foundation becomes care. It covers the difference between what someone can pay and what their counseling, mentoring, coaching, intensive, or retreat actually costs, so the person on the other side of it can start the work instead of waiting for their circumstances to change.
Gifts of any size go directly toward that. The Restore Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3), and contributions are tax-deductible.
If you, your business, church, or organization would like to talk about a larger partnership, through financial support, donated services, or another form of giving, the Foundation would welcome the conversation. Write to Info@TheRestoreFoundation.org.
Our donors have made it possible for more people to receive care than the practice could reach alone, and we are grateful for every one of them.
Whether you're receiving a scholarship, simply showing up for your own care, or supporting The Restore Foundation, you are part of the impact. Everyone who chooses Restore helps make care reach someone else.
Healing shouldn’t have to wait for circumstances to change.
