Most of us listen for information. Experiential listening goes further.
It is the practice of becoming present enough to hear not only what someone is saying, but what may be happening beneath their words—the emotions, experiences, needs, and meaning they may not yet know how to express.
In this experiential training, you will learn practical ways to listen without rushing to fix, advise, judge, or make assumptions. You will practice remaining curious, recognizing what is happening within you, and creating the kind of space where another person can feel seen without being managed.
You will learn how to:
Listen for meaning, emotion, and experience—not only content
Notice the internal reactions that interfere with your ability to stay present
Ask questions that invite discovery rather than direct the conversation
Respond with curiosity without trying to fix or rescue
Recognize the difference between listening, agreeing, and taking responsibility
Create conversations marked by dignity, honesty, and meaningful connection
Who This Training Is For
Experieintial Listening is for leaders, helping professionals, parents, partners, team members, and anyone who wants to become more present and effective in the conversations that matter most.
You do not need to become the expert in another person’s life. You can learn to listen in a way that helps them hear themselves more clearly.
Better conversations do not begin with having the right answer. They begin with learning how to remain present long enough to understand what is actually being said.
